Finished. I have super-cool, homemade, flying contraption, “go-with” stamps.

Last night, I had anxiety dreams about my stamps and how the images were too heavy. (It is settled, I am crazy.) So as soon as time permitted, about 8 am, I tackled texture on my stamps. I added some detail in the balloon, texture in the basket, and more definition in the tips and bases of the wings. I am much happier with my product. I am going to clean up each stamps’ background later today, but I am submitting this post, stamps as is, to Crusade No. 18.

After I finished adding some detail, I made the bon voyage card pictured above. I used my super cool, homemade stamps, machine made alphabet stamps, ink, glue stick, reproduced Victorian scraps and a copy from a page from a 1965 Paris Michelin guide. I am very happy with my card.

I intend to incorporate my flying contraption “go-with” stamps in card-making, in my journal and in my next bookmaking project. I have another card in mind – a welcome home card, using an old photo of a house I picked up for pennies a few weeks ago.
